The Lord knows the ways of the righteous. Psalm 1:6
Oftentimes we need to suffer blame for things we have not done and possibly each time when it is so we have no choice but to endure the pain. Have we ever realised we are so blessed that all our complications in life dissolve to nothing, as the One who created us knows our ways? Over the last couple of years I have personally been through incidents where I have been trapped into situations which completely pictured me as a different person. Probably it was a result of someone who gossiped bearing tales behind me in addition to the situations not being in favour of me. The disappointment and intolerable pain was forcing me many a time to blow out the part of my mind, justify myself and face the consequences no matter how worse it might be because I am not at fault. But deciding to maintain a low key, the issue was kept in prayers and unbelievably all the reactions of those against me changed to how I wished they would react. It seemed as if someone had gone into their ears and whispered the way I was feeling. It was strange and more than that it was unbelievable. I did not have to justify, rather God did it for me because I need not explain my ways to the Lord. He knows our every thought, word and deed especially when we struggle to be righteous. Exodus 14:14 says, “The LORD will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.”. We do not have to worry even if we know that the people are with a pretentious heart and try to pull us down. We do not have to worry about others’ opinions. We need not worry about proving ourselves to others. All we need to worry about is to stay righteous despite the inner struggle we face because the Lord knows the ways of the righteous. The inner heart of everyone lies naked in front of HIS eyes as Proverbs 5:21 says, “For a man’s ways are before the eyes of the LORD, and he ponders all his paths.”. So as we begin this new month shall we submit all our troubles into God’s hand and stay relaxed because no matter what others do to us, God knows our ways and He will deliver us out? Shall we stay calm and avoid reciprocating the way we wouldn’t like others to do to us? Shall we ask God to take control of our ways and help us not to lose control of ourselves? Let the prayer of the Psalmist from Psalm 27:11 be our prayer this month “Teach me your way, O LORD, and lead me on a level path because of my enemies.”. May GOD help us to walk in HIS ways.
